- Account Data: When you create an account, you provide us with basic login credentials (email, password), as well as basic details necessary for the service to work (gender, date of birth).
- Profile Data: You can add additional information to your profile, such as details on your personality, lifestyle, interests, and photos.
- Usage Data: We collect information about your activity on our services (e.g., date and time you logged in, clicks, and searches).
WE DO NOT COLLECT, STORE, OR PROCESS YOUR CREDIT CARD DETAILS.
All financial transactions are handled entirely by our secure third-party payment processors.
When you make a purchase, your payment data is entered directly into their secure encrypted systems. Chat and Date Root only receives a "Success" or "Failure" confirmation. We never see or save your card number, CVV, or bank details.
The main reason we use your information is to deliver and improve our services. Additionally, we use your info to help keep you safe.

- To detect and prevent fraud or other illegal activities.
- To facilitate payments via our secure partners (as detailed above).
Since our goal is to help you make meaningful connections, the main sharing of users' information is, of course, with other members.
We also share strictly necessary technical data with service providers who assist us in operating the services (such as hosting and security). We do not sell your personal data to third-party advertisers.

App Terms of Service
- Age Requirement: You MUST be at least 18 years of age to use DateRoot. Any accounts found to be operated by minors will be immediately terminated.
- Zero Tolerance Content: DateRoot strictly prohibits pornography, sexually explicit content, nudity, and illegal materials. Uploading such content in your gallery, profile picture, or sending it via text or video chat will result in an immediate, permanent ban.
- User Conduct (Block & Report): You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. Harassment, hate speech, and abusive behavior will lead to account termination. We provide in-app tools to Block and Report abusive users. Please use them to help keep DateRoot safe.
App Privacy Policy & Permissions
- Device Permissions (Camera, Mic, IP Location): DateRoot requires access to your device's Camera and Microphone strictly for enabling the live Video Chat feature. To power the Radar feature, we use your IP address to determine your approximate city/country. We do not track or request access to your device's GPS location data.
- User-Generated Content & Photos: When you update your profile or use the gallery, we collect and securely store the images you upload so they can be displayed on your profile. We monitor uploaded images for explicit or unsafe content to keep our community safe.
- Financial Information: We DO NOT collect, store, or process your credit card numbers. All in-app purchases are securely processed entirely through Google Play or Apple App Store.
- Data Deletion: You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time through the app settings or by emailing our support team at [email protected] from your registered email address.
You have the right to access, rectify, or delete your personal data. You can manage your information directly within the Service by visiting your "Settings" page. If you wish to delete your account permanently, you may do so from the Settings menu.
